SPAY & NEUTER LICENSE PLATES

Be the leader of the pack out on the road!   Show the world that you support spaying and neutering and that you are committed to reducing pet overpopulation. Order the official Maryland PET license plate from HSHC!

The Maryland PET “Spay and Neuter” license plate can be purchased from HSHC for a total of $50 ($25 goes to HSHC and $25 goes to the MVA). It’s easy! Just follow these 2 steps:

1.     Send your name, mailing address, and a check for $25 payable to HSHC to:

2.     We will send you an acknowledgement that we received your tax-deductible donation. We will also send you an application that you then take to a local MVA office with another check for $25 payable to the MVA. They will send you your new plates through the mail. The cost to maintain the plate is $25 for each following year, paid directly to the MVA.

*Please note: Payment for your Spay/Neuter license plates is different than your registration fee to renew your license plates. The charge for the Spay/Neuter license plates is a one-time fee, and the $25 fee paid to HSHC is a tax-deductible donation.

*Your Maryland registration fee is paid every two years, and your new animal license plate cannot be issued until your registration is current. When you order your animal tags, you will NOT have to pay another registration fee
