Puppies need socialization to become good, well-rounded dogs.

Play Hard, Train Happy sessions are open to JVC clients only. Puppies must be between 12 weeks and 6 months and have their Bordetella and first DA2PP vaccines.
Sessions will run for 3 weeks. You must sign up for all 3 weeks in advance. Space is limited to 5 puppies per 3 week session.
Each 1- hour session will include:
•20 minutes of supervised play
•20 minutes of training
•20 minutes of discussion about your pet, Q&As, and probably more play!
Every week, both you and your pup will learn something new!
WEEK 1: The Name Game
•Come when called using a food lure
Discussion topics
•Enrichment at home
•Handling your puppy
•How to stop them from mouthing
•Teaching “off” (no jumping)
WEEK 2: Puppy Push-Ups
•Show off skills from Week 1
•Learn sit and down using a food lure
Discussion topics:
•Importance of continuing socialization
•Leash Walking
•What’s best for your puppy in terms of types of collars/harnesses/leashes
WEEK 3:
Show off skills from Week 1 and 2
Learn
•Stay
•Get back
•Leave it
Discussion topics
•Stages of growth
•Play biting
•Meeting needs of their breed

Each 3 week session package is $75 and must be paid in advance to complete registration.
